One night back in January 2009, I had just got home from work and on my way into the house I noticed a dog wandering past my garage… (which was odd, because I lived in a remote rural area.) Affordable, easy to use. There are 2 ways to get instant extensive information about the pet. You have the ability to update your pets information any time. There's no need for any other tags ~ all of your pet's information (rabies number, registration number, etc.) is all viewed when your Scan Me Home pet tag is scanned. Micro Chips: More costly and not visible. Micro chips must be scanned by a veterinarian, humane society or shelter. Micro chips require a visit to the Veterinarian to be implanted. There is no immediate access to contact information and they usually require costly recurring fees. With a micro chip, your pet still needs to wear other tags. Standard tags: There's no way to update contact information, unless another tag is purchased. There's no room to include veterinarian information, alternative contact methods, medical information or any other additional information.
